Work Camper Bill of Rights
Amendment I
Amendment II
Work Campers have the right to receive a fair and equitable wage. The total dollar value of the benefits received divided by the number of hours worked should be equal to or greater than the states mandatory minimum wage.
Amendment III
Work Campers have the right to receive a "Work Camper Agreement" signed by both parties. The agreement should outline the required number of hours to be worked per day and week, number of days to be worked per week, required work to be performed, length and frequency of paid and non-paid breaks, paid and non-paid vacation and sick leave days.
Amendment IV
Work Campers have the right to receive fair and equitable compensation for hours worked beyond the required number of hours to be worked per day and week as outlined in the signed "Work Camper Agreement".
Amendment V
Work Campers have the right to receive a list of the benefits that they will receive as outlined in the signed "Work Camper Agreement". Benefits should include but not be limited to the following.

Campsite (expect to receive a free campsite as part of your compensation)

Electricity (expect to receive a partial or full credit for electricity used)

Propane (expect to receive propane at cost or at a discount)

Uniforms (if required, polo or t-shirts are provided)

Laundry (expect to receive a specified dollar amount of quarters per week)

Store Discounts (expect to receive a flat discount, or it may be product dependent)

Onsite RV and Vehicle Washing (RV's are typically allowed and free, but vehicles may not be allowed)
